Suzie is a 6 year old American Pit Bull Terrier. She has been at the Animal Care & Control Center in NYC since 5/24/07.
Suzie is a great dog. She was so easy to walk. She fell in line very quickly. I didn't have to pull or tug or anything. She's mellow... I think older dogs definitely have a place in our society. Most times people give up older dogs and don't adopt them, but they are great for people who are not active, who just love to lounge around or walk at a slow pace and hang out. They are also great for older individuals.
Suzie would make a great companion for an older, non-active person.
