Lilly Beth - A696130 - Pit Bull

Lilly Beth is a 1 year and 6 month old Pit Bull. She has been at the Animal Care & Control Center in NYC since 2/13/07.

Lilly Beth was amazing to walk. She immediately walked nicely by my side and didn't pull. She also waited for me when I stopped. She enjoys being smothered with hugs and kisses.

Lilly Beth is a wonderful dog and needs a forever home.

Clutch - A696483 - Pit Bull

Clutch is a Pit Bull. He is 3 years old and has been at the Animal Care & Control Center since 2/15/07. He is neutered :)

For a 3 year old, Clutch still has the energy of a pup. He loves to play. He walks well on the leash after a while. It took him some time to get use to me. When he saw another dog, he did bark and growl a little, but I don't believe it's because he's aggressive towards other dogs. There must have been something about that dog, maybe he wasn't neutered. I have found that neutered dogs don't like un-neutered dogs. Also, when he passed cages of other dogs he didn't become aggressive, he sniffed instead.

Clutch is a good listener and enjoys being petted.

Magic - A695575 - American Pit Bull Terrier Mix

Magic is an American Pit Bull Terrier Mix. He is 5 years old and has been at the Animal Care & Control Center in NYC since 2/8/07. His owners gave him up for personal problems. What does that mean?

Anyway, Magic is good around other dogs. He actually doesn't pay any mind to them when their around. He goes about his business. He's a very focused dog. It was hard for me to get a good shot of him. His nose was glued to the ground :)

Magic is a big dog and very calm.

Luna - A695783 - Pit Bull

Luna is an 11 month old Pit Bull. She has been at the Animal Care & Control Center in NYC since 2/10/07.

Luna is a very playful and energetic young pup. She barked a lot when in her cage, but when she was with us she was quiet. She just wanted to get our attention to take her out. She is curious when she sees other dogs and wants to get to know them. She loves to be loved :)

Tori - A695465 - American Pit Bull Terrier

Tori is an American Pit Bull Terrier and is 1 years old. She has been at the Animal Care & Control Center in NYC since 2/7/07.

Tori is a big dog and gentle dog. She pulls a bit on the leash, but that can be worked on. She knows how to sit and loves to take treats. She is a lovable dog and enjoys being petted.

Blackie - A695781 - Flat Coat Retriever Mix

Blackie is a Flat Coat Retriever Mix and is 1 year old. He has been at the Animal Care & Control Center in NYC since 2/10/07

Blackie got really attached to my husband. He walks extremely well on the leash and doesn't pull at all. He stays by your side. He loved to sit with my husband on the bench and bask in the sun.

Blackie is a very calm dog and would do well in any home.

Candy - A695076 - American Staffordshire Mix

Candy is an American Staffordshire Mix. She is 9 months old and has been at the Animal Care & Control Center in NYC since 2/4/07.

Candy is a fabulous and playful dog. She has lots of energy and pulls the leash a bit, but that can easily be changed. She loves to jump and play with gloves apparently :) She found her way to my husband's glove and snatched it for her own. He was able to get it back pretty easily. No growling involved or possesiveness.

Candy needs a safe home, a home that would give her plenty of exercise.

Lika - A695782 - Pit Bull

Lika is a pit bull and she is 2 years old. She has been at the Animal Care & Control Center in NYC since 2/10/07.

Lika was so quiet in her cage, but when I took her out she was extremely hyper and energetic. I took her on the roof outside, but since there were other dogs out there I couldn't give her as much exercise as she needed, so I decided to take her inside. We walked the floor which is laid out like a circle. I tired her out as well as myself :) Once we did that she was happy to walk by my side and not pull.

Lika is a great dog and is looking for a safe and loving home.
