Syndil is a 1 year and 6 month old American Staffordshire Terrier. She has been at the Animal Care & Control Center in NYC since 5/10/07.
Syndil stole the heart of myself and the other volunteers who were there today. The woman in the pic is another volunteer. Syndil appears to have been starved. She is very underweight.
Syndil was a joy. She loves to lounge and hang out. She loves to be petted and hugged and she returns the love :) We spent a lot of time with Syndil. It was hard to tear ourselves from her.
She is also at ease with other dogs around. She just basked in the sun and watched them walk by :)
