A689702 - Pit Bull Mix

This beauty has no name yet. He is a pit bull mix and is 4 years old. He has been at the Animal Care and Control Center in NYC since 12/20/06.

He is absolutely wonderful. He barked like crazy for us to take him out. Once we did, he was quiet as a mouse. He walked well on the leash and loved to be pet and cuddled. He took to my husband very quickly. He would make a great companion.

Diamond - A690125 - American Staffordshire Mix

Diamond is an American Staffordshire Mix. She is 1 year and 1 month old. She has been at the Animal Care and Control Center since 12/23/06 and it's obvious she does not like it at all.

When we had to put her back in the cage she fought us hard. All dogs fight us when we try to put them in but she was extreme. She is a strong dog and needs a strong owner. She wants out bad and it seems the life in a kennel has taken a toll on her very early in the process.

Lady - A689832 - American Staffordshire Mix

Lady is an American Staffordshire Mix and is 1 year and 6 months old. She has been at the Animal Care & Control Center since 12/20/06.

Lady is very easy to walk. She loves to be pet and is just a beautiful dog.

Vito - A689935 - German Shepherd Mix

Vito is a 6 month old German Shepherd Mix. He has been at the Animal Care & Control Center in NYC since 12/21/06.

Vito is a very calm and loving dog. He walks very easy on the leash. He would make a great companion :)

*Seized Pit Bull Puppy*

I had the great priviledge of taking this beautiful puppy for a stroll. He is about 3 months old. He was a dream to be with, so energetic and loving. All he wanted to do was run and play. He was so curious about his surroundings and got into everything. What a sweetheart :)

Corin - A688146 - Pit Bull Mix

Corin is a pit bull mix and is currently at the Animal Care & Control Center in NYC. She has been there since December 7 and is only 10 months sold.

Corin loves to play. In fact, she'll entertain herself for a long time with a simple toy. She'd be a suitable playmate for active kids, at least teens and up. She would love them, and they would love her. Her playfulness comes from her happy, friendly personality.

Tiffany - A687367 - German Shepherd Mix

Tiffany is a German Shepherd Mix. She is 10 months old and has been at the Animal Care & Control Center in NYC since December 1.

Tiffany was found on a school ground in the Bronx. Perhaps she was trying to enroll -- she's that smart! Just 10 months old, she's a German Shepherd mix, but is lighter and smaller than purebred Shepherds. However, her intelligence is comparable. Her temperament is mild and friendly. Given those qualities and her youth, Tiffany could be trained to an advanced degree. Besides being well-mannered, she would be your loyal and devoted companion for many years.

Fred is currently at the Animal Care & Control Center in NYC. He is 1 year and 7 months old and has been at the Acc&c since December 15.

Jerry - A687071 - Pit Bull

Jerry is a 3 year old Pit Bull. He has been at the Animal Care and Control Center since 11/28/06.

Jerry was also eager to get out of his cage. He looks like he was abused on his booty and on his forehead. Signs of an idiot, insecure owner! Anyway, despite Jerry's past he loves people and is okay with other dogs.

Jerry is looking for a safe and loving home :)

Maxwell - A673763 - American Pit Bull Terrier

Maxwell is a 9 month old American Pit Bull Terrier. He has been at the Animal Care an Control Center since 12/1/06.

Maxwell is fabulous. He was barking like crazy to get out of his cage. Can you blame him??? He pulled the leash a bit in the beginning but once he walked with us for a while, he calmed down and walked by our side. He loves to cuddle :)

Tye - A687146 - Pit Bull Mix

Tye is a pit bull mix and she is 8 months old. She has been at the Animal Care and Control Center since 11/29/06.

Tye is a great dog. Very happy and loves to jump on you. She's a little sick though and is waiting for a safe and loving home.

Mancha - A687421 - American Staffordshire Terrier

Mancha is an American Staffordshire Terrier and is 5 months old. He has been at the Animal Care and Control Center in NYC since 12/1/06.

Mancha is a great dog. He is so playful and energetic. In the picture he looks very calm though, that's because he was a little sick and threw up. The vet says that have to monitor his eating habits. It was like a bile. He needs a home quickly. Visit the AC&C and adopt Mancha today :)

Sheala is an adorable and playful little pup who loves to sit in your lap and cuddle.

Timmy is an extremely lovable and affection pit bull. He was all over my husband. He was obviously too big to cuddle on his lap but Timmy tried anyway.

Fire - A685183 - American Staffordshire

Fire was a dream. I loved her. Don't be fooled by her ears. Her owners were stupid. To try and make a dog look mean only tells me that the owner is a coward. Fire is a 7 month old American Staffordshire and she has been at the Animal Care & Control Center in NYC since 11/12/06.

She barked a lot to get our attention which may seem scary to some but don't ever let the barking fool you. They just want to get out and who can blame them??? She walks very well on the leash and got attached to us both very quickly. She loves to be loved and feel safe.

Fire needs a safe and loving home and would make a great addition to you family :)

Blacky - A685434 - Pit Bull Mix

Blacky is a pit bull mix and he is 1 year and 6 months old. He has been at the Animal Care & Control Center in NYC since 11/14/06.

Blacky is a great dog. He is very calm and walks well on the leash which is unusal for his age. He's almost like an adult, but I think when he finds a home he will soften up and show tons of affection to his new owner :)

Brandon - A685493 - Pit Bull Mix

Brandon is a pit bull mix and he is 1 year and 6 months old. He has been at the Animal Care & Control Center since 11/14/06.

Brandon is incredible. He loves, and I mean, loves to play with toys. In fact, we had some extra leashes and he picked them up and started to play with them. We also threw a tennis ball and he ran after it and when we would go to walk, he would take his tennis ball in his mouth and walk with it, proudly.

He has an extreme amount of energy and will need an owner who is very active to help him to release some of that pinned up excitement for life :)

Girl - A685346 - American Pit Bull Mix

Girl is an American Pit Bull Mix and is 4 years old. She has been at the Animal Care & Control Center since 11/14/06.

We took Girl outside and she was excellent on the leash. She walked by our sides, actually, we put her in the middle of us and we walked as a family. She loved it, and we did also. Girl was bred for her pups and then given to the shelter. No comment *$@#!

Girl would make an excellent companion :)

Coco - A685420 - Pit Bull Mix

Coco is a great gal. She is a pit bull mix and is 7 years old. She has been at the Animal Care & Control Center in NYC since 11/14/06.

Coco, like Walton, her buddy below, was easy to walk. She walks by your side and does not pull the leash. She loves to be rubbed on her belly.

Obviously, this beautiful female was used just to breed. If you're an avid reader, you know how I feel about this. No comment *&$!

Coco would make an excellent addition to any home, along with her buddy Walton :)

Walton - A685417 - Labrador Retriever Mix

Walton is a labrador retriever mix and is 3 years old. He has been at the Animal Care & Control Center in NYC since 11/14/06.

Walton is a great dog. He walks extremely well on the leash and is very calm. He gets along with other dogs very well. Him and Coco, above, hit it off quickly and enjoyed each other's company.

Tarzan is a 10 month old pit bull. She has been at the Animal Care & Control Center since 11/4/06.

Tarzan is extremely energetic and borderline hyper. She did not want to sit still. She wanted to run and play and enjoy the fresh air.

She is beautiful and is looking for a safe and loving home :)

Missy - A684574 - American Staffordshire Mix

Missy is a 4 year old American Staffordshire Mix. She has been at the Animal Care and Control Center since 11/7/06.

I fell in love with Missy. She walked right by my side and did not pull the leash. When I stopped to rest she rested with me and actually laid down by my feet. She loves to be loved and petted. I wish I could take her home. She just had pups and her former owners gave her up after that. She was obviously abused. She has a scare on the tip of her nose, you can still see some blood and she also has a scar on her back. No comment *@*!?&

Missy would make a great companion and addition to any ones family :)

Kelly - A684521 - Pit Bull

Kelly is a 6 month old Pit Bull. She has been at the Animal Care and Control Center in NYC since 11/6/06.

Kelly is great to walk. She follows nicely on the leash as well. She looks a bit thin but that's because she wasn't well taken care of her by her former owners.

She is a very happy dog and is looking for a safe and loving home :)

Beans - A684564 - American Staffordshire Mix

Beans is an American Staffordshire Mix. He is 6 months old and has been at the Animal Care & Control Center in NYC since 11/7/06.

Beans is incredible. He is incredibly energetic and fun to be with. He loves to play. He walks well on the leash although he does like gallop ahead of you. After a while I let go of the leash and when I walked he happily followed me without me having to ask :).

He is a fabulous dog and would make a great addition to your home!

Tina is a German Shepherd / Pit Bull Mix. She is 1 year and 6 months old and has been at the AC&C since 11/1/06.

Tina is amazing. She walks well on the leash and knows how to sit. She is good around other dogs and people. She would make a wonderful companion. I fell in love with her :)

Tutie - A683237 - German Shepherd / Siberian Husky Mix

Tutie is a whirl wind of energy. She is 6 months old and has been at the Animal Care & Control Center in NYC since 10/31/06. She is a German Shepherd / Siberian Husky Mix.

When I walked her she pulled and pulled and just wanted to zoom ahead. When I stopped, though, she stopped as well and would wait until I walked but once we did she started pulling again.

She is very playful and excited about everything. She loves to share kisses too :)
She's going to get adopted very quickly!

Boots - A684163 - Pit Bull Mix

Boots is a fabulous dog. He is a pit bull mix and is 1 year and 6 months old. He has been at the Animal Care & Control Center in NYC since 11/3/06.

He's a little anxious and does not like to sit still but he is okay when walking him on the leash as long as you're on the move.

Boots would make a great companion and needs lots of love.

Rita - A682755 - Pit Bull

Rita is a Pit Bull and she is 3 years old. She has been at the Animal Care & Control Center in NYC since 10/24/06. I had the honor of walking her today and she was amazing. She has a lot of energy. She was galloping all the way. It was challenging to get her to stop and walk by my side but when I did stop she would come to me and wait till I walked. She knows how to sit also and enjoys treats, she had a hard time taking them from me though, they would always fall out of her mouth :)

Love those ears :)

Sandy - A683277 - American Staffordshire Terrier

Sandy is an American Staffordshire Terrier and she is 2 months old. She is at the AC&C in NYC. She has been there since 10/28/06. She was a pleasure to walk today. Sandy is a very energetic little puppy. She already enjoys playing tug-o-war with the leash. And she loves walking and running beside you. She is a pleasure and undoubtly she will be adopted quickly.

Spike - A683241 - American Staffordshire Terrier

Spike is a 4 month old American Staffordshire Terrier. He is 4 months old and has been at the Animal Care & Control Center since 10/28/06.

He is absolutely beautiful. He runs with you and lays down in your lap. He has a lot of energy. His belly was a little sick today so we just hung out quietly. He fell asleep in my lap. He loves to snuggle. He will be adopted quickly :)

Buoji is a great dog. He is a Pit Bull and is 3 years old. I had the pleasure of walking him today. He is very strong and is determined to go his own way so he will need a confident leader in an owner. He knows how to sit and he loves to be petted.
